I remember coming across your post last year and I felt inspired by this concept! And I allowed myself to be fully present this past December 2025. And I’m allowing myself to fully reflect for this month of January 2026 and I’ve felt empowered from journaling and reflecting on the previous year. I’m soo glad you reposted this and I came across it this morning, because I had been looking for it. 🤓 Happy New Year and Cheers to you and everyone who is inspired by your post! Let’s have a joyful and productive 2026!

That's incredible. What's in store for this year for you now that you've had a chance to slow down this month? Have you noticed any additional clarity? Any new motivations? Would love to hear them.

I was just telling a friend this morning that January is for reflecting on the last year and February is the new year. Love that we’re on the same page!

You know what - YES! I always feel too stressed to do a recap in December - instead of living. I’m going to adopt this new routine / reflecting in January

Okay, we're nearing the end the month....how's the reflection been going?

I NEVER make New Year resolutions! I use too,but as I'm grown spiritually and physically,I see no point in them. I do however reflect on the past year that being now 2025. I just REALLY want to continue to be obedient and stay faithful to our Savior, Jesus Christ! This Christain walk is anything but EASY! Since I've started to learn this humility virtue, it's been insightful to what God will provide in His timing.

It's good to hear from you John. I ran out of Christmas cards this year otherwise you & your family would have received one. Just my way of staying in touch.

I actually have a phone book and do my Christmas cards alphabetically. Since you last name begins with an "O" I ran out when I got to "L"...... :).

Have the BEST day that you can, ON PURPOSE!!!! :)

Mama E, hope you're dong well! Don't worry about the Christmas cards, we get more of them than we know what to do with. This post is much better, and I don't have to feel guilty when it comes time to take it off the fridge and recycle it!
