Alright y’all,
This ain’t the official Q&A I mentioned earlier this week. So if you subscribed just so you wouldn’t miss out on the announcement, please know—this isn’t that!
I was driving after a couple meetings I had today and realized that I needed to distract myself for a bit this evening. For various reasons, this week has been one of the tougher ones I’ve had in a while. And candidly, until me and my counselor have some time to chat, I need to keep myself intentionally distracted. At least on nights like tonight.
With that being said, at 8:30pm tonight on IG Live, I’ll be answering questions about storytelling, narrative shaping, coming up with and using illustrations in public speaking. I’ll save the video and post it here so that y’all can be the first ones to have it whether or not you’re on IG.
Everyone is a storyteller. That’s just how we are as people. We think in narratives. We let people off the hook if they have good ones. We keep them on the hook if they don’t! I just want to do everything I can to make sure that you’re a good one (if you want to be).
So, if you get this and plan on hopping on at 8:30pm EST and want to give me about 80 minutes beforehand to think about your question, shoot me your question by leaving a comment or just replying to this email. (Even if you don’t plan on being there, if Google has taught me anything it’s taught me that if you have a question then there are DEFINITELY other people that have had, or still do have, the same question.) You’ll help everyone out by leaving your question, whether or not you plan on joining.
Looking forward to spending some time with y’all tonight!
Peace
I'm just seeing this John, I have questions!!! I'm toooooo late, but I'm sure there will be other times in the future.
